My granddaughter, Jessica, is helping me write my morning post. We want to say, “Good Morning, World!”
I have lots to do today. First I need to visit the library and check out some new reading material. I think I’ll get a tape to listen to, too. I have to drive to Pocatello (about an hour) to get a new military ID card reflecting my new status as widow. I also need to go by the bank and make a change on my account, call my attorney and check the status of my disability claim, and send out some moisturizer to one of my Mary Kay customers.
Jessie wants to go with me to the library and to Pocatello. I always like to have company when I’m driving. She wants to get some new books, too. When we go to the library she always heads for the computers while I check out the stacks.
I met a guy standing in the check-out line at the library once who said he never searches the stacks. He searches the library on-line site for what he wants and then puts in a request. All he has to do is pick it up at the desk. Is that fair? I like to search the site for books, too. But then I take my list to the stacks and get them myself.
Well, Jess has deserted me, and I need to eat breakfast and get started on my day. Have a great Tuesday! The rules for this meme require the posting of before/after pictures to show what you have done. I guess my after looks like this.

**I got most of the stuff on my list done, but when I got in the car to go for my ID card my battery was dead. So I had to borrow my daughter’s car. After a couple false starts we didn’t have enough time to make it to the armory before 3:00. Gotta try again tomorrow and get an earlier start.
